Week 5 of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 10 delivered high-voltage drama, concluding with an unexpected double elimination and the arrival of five brand-new wild card housemates. From Apoorva Tungaturthy’s sharp exit remarks to RJ Charan’s sudden eviction through a special housemate ballot, the weekend episode shifted the power dynamics inside the house.
Apoorva Tungaturthy Eliminated: Emotional Farewells and Family Honor
Wild card entrant Apoorva Tungaturthy saw her journey cut short after failing to secure sufficient audience votes. Despite entering mid-game with tactical awareness, Apoorva struggled to forge a lasting emotional connection with viewers, frequently clashing with housemates Shalini and Trigun.
Her eviction brought an emotional breakdown for Jhansi, who admitted she would miss Apoorva the most. Apoorva urged Jhansi to stay sharp and maintain focus on the prize.
On stage alongside host Nagarjuna, an emotional Apoorva watched her journey reel and recalled her father’s parting advice: “My father told me not to damage our family’s reputation and to uphold its honour. I believe I did exactly that.”
Bitter Shots: Apoorva Confronts Rohith, Ram Prasad, and Shalini
During the candid Bitter Shots segment, Apoorva offered blunt critiques of several housemates:
- Rohith: Warned against overconfidence and underestimating other contenders, noting house equations can flip overnight.
- Ram Prasad: Accused of letting personal ties compromise fair play, calling out his biased choices and selfish motives.
- Shalini: Advised to abandon external dependencies, stop reacting impulsively in heated arguments, and build a distinct, independent game.
Shock Double Eviction: RJ Charan Voted Out by Housemates
The drama peaked when Nagarjuna unveiled a twist eviction mechanism for the bottom two, Shalini and RJ Charan.
Instead of public polling alone, Nagarjuna tasked the 11 safe contestants with an anonymous box vote to save one housemate:
- Shalini: Secured 10 votes
- RJ Charan: Received only 1 vote
Facing near-unanimous rejection from his peers, RJ Charan was evicted. A tearful Charan apologized for any unintended grievances during his stay before receiving a warm send-off from Nagarjuna on stage.
Meet the 5 New Wild Card Entrants
The weekend concluded with fresh energy as five new participants entered the house, resetting alliances and creating instant friction:
- Shiva Kumar: Television actor who made a grand entrance on a motorbike.
- Neethu Nataraj: Ready to disrupt existing strategies.
- Daksha Guttikonda: Set to challenge current frontrunners.
- Swetha Naidu: Geared up for competitive gameplay.
- Navarasalu Ramakrishna: Commoner entrant from Srikakulam, who used immunity badges granted by Nagarjuna to save Naresh and Rohith from impending danger.
The newcomers wasted no time making an impact, instantly targeting Shalini by questioning whether her gameplay relies too heavily on Rohith. Shalini held her ground, declaring that the coming weeks will reveal who truly commands the floor.
